ਵਿਸਾਖੀ ਦਾ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ( Sikh History of Baisakhi )

                   

  ਵਿਸਾਖੀ ਤਿਓਹਾਰ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਇਸ ਦਿਨ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਸਵੇਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਵਿਸਾਖੀ ਵਾਲੇ ਦਿਨ 1699 ਈਸਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਅਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਤੇ 80 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦੇ ਭਾਰੀ ਇਕੱਠ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ  ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਿਰ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ

ਤਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਖੜਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਅਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਬੁਲਾਇਆ। ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਤੰਬੂ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੈ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਲਹੂ ਨਾਲ ਲਿਬੜੀ ਤਲਵਾਰ  ਫੜ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆ ਗਏ। ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਦੂਸਰੀ ਵਾਰ ਫੇਰ ਸਿਰ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਤਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਹੋਰ ਖੜਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਤੰਬੂ ਅੰਦਰ ਲੈ ਗਏ। ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਾਰ ਵਾਰਦੁਹਰਾਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਵਾਰੋ ਵਾਰੀ ਪੰਜ ਸਿੱਖ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ। 

   ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ।  ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਿੰਘਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਛਕਾਇਆ ਤੇ ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਾਜੇ ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਖੁੱਦ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਛਕਿਆ।

ਇੱਕ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਪਹਿਚਾਣ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਮਰਦ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ  ਪਿੱਛੇ ਸਿੰਘ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਕੌਰ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਲਗਾਇਆ। ਹਰ ਧਰਮ ਦਾ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਔਰਤ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਛਕ ਕੇ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਜ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਪੰਜ ਪਿਆਰਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ :- 

1. ਭਾਈ ਦਇਆ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ

2. ਭਾਈ ਧਰਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ

3. ਭਾਈ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ

4. ਭਾਈ ਮੋਹਕਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ

5. ਭਾਈ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ

The Baisakhi festival is of great significance in Sikh history.

On this day, Guru Gobind Singh Sahib, the tenth Guru of the Sikhs, on the day of Baisakhi, 1699 AD, asked for a head from a large gathering of 80,000 Sikhs at Anandpur Sahib. 

  Then a Sikh stood up and the Guru called to him The Guru led them into the tent and the Guru came out of the tent holding a blood-stained sword.  The Guru demanded a second time, then another Sikh stood up.  The Guru also took him into the tent.  The Guru repeated this over and over again, and in turn the five Sikhs were ready.Guru Gobind Singh Sahib performed Amrit Sanchar. These Singhs were baptized and named Panj Pyare. 

The Guru himself tasted the Amrit from these five beloveds.

 

Gave a different identity. Singh was added after the name of the man and Kaur after the name of the woman. Men and women of every religion can adorn themselves with Amrit.

 2. Bhai Dharam Singh Ji

 3. Bhai Himmat Singh Ji

 4. Bhai Mohkam Singh Ji

 5. Bhai Sahib Singh Ji
